Opening this Saturday is the mid-career survey of photographer Zoe Strauss at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. “Strauss’s subjects are broad but her primary focus is on working-class experience, including the most disenfranchised people and places. Her photographs offer a poignant, troubling portrait of contemporary America.” (PMA). Also in conjunction with the museum show, Strauss has created 54 billboards displaying her photography across the city, so be on the lookout over the next month! This Monday the PMA is offering free admission in celebration of the exhibition, so don’t miss out!
