This past Monday, and like every third Monday in January since 1986, Americans observed Martin Luther King Jr. Day, celebrating the birthday of one of the most recognized American civil rights leaders and impactful individual in our country’s history. In celebration of Dr. King’s efforts, Nike Basketball marked the occasion with its expansive 2013 Black History Month Collection themed around the “Be Bold. Be True.” mantra, embodying Dr. King’s outlook during his call for equality and justice. Some NBA players already broke out their BHM Collection yesterday, the NBA will showcase more of the Nike Basketball BHM Collection in the during this week’s scheduled games leading up to the Saturday release date, which will be available at UBIQ Walnut.
