UBIQ on Episode 5 of ‘Detroit Rubber’!
How many of you have been watching ‘Detroit Rubber’, the Eminem-produced Web series that documents the Burn Rubber sneaker boutique? Well in case you missed it, UBIQ made a guest appearance on Episode 5, and no the appearance we speak of isn’t a cameo but rather a collab shoe – the Distinct Life x UBIQ Beatle. In the latest episode “Pay It Forward” the BR team decide give back to the community by visiting a boys home and offering a free pair to local youths after giving an inspirational speech.
Designed by BR’s owner Rick Williams and our buyer Paul Lee, and produced through Williams’ Distinct Life creative agency, the shoe takes on the UBIQ Beatle silhouette with suede and camo-print canvas covered with embroidered stars. No word yet on a retail release, but we’re glad to be apart of any positive community building, thanks Rick and the whole Burn Rubber team!
