The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) is teaming up with Amtrak to bring KAWS’ 16-foot-tall sculpture Companion Passing Through to our very own 30th Street Station (the above picture is from its Fort Worth,Texas stop). Philadelphia’s classic eating contest, the Wing Bowl, went down early this morning at the Wells Fargo Center and the infamous Kobayashi handled business. He downed 337 wings (!!!) over two 14 minutes rounds and a 2 minute sprint round. Second place was claimed by last year’s winner Jonathan Squibb who managed to eat 257 wings. Kobayashi is no joke.
